Gunclub Suriname has been around for some time now. We've had numerous achievements throughout the years in the shooting sports in Suriname. In the "Blasts from the Past" section we'll be reflecting upon these achievements.

Blasts from the Past : March 18th 2007: Team SVS performs clean sweep of IPSC Scherpschutter Open Shoot

Shooters of Team SVS performed a historic clean sweep of the top three overall positions in IPSC Standard Division of the Open Shoot hosted by shooting club Scherpschutter on March 18th 2007.

Stephen Tsang (center) shot an immaculate match to finish comfortably in the gold medal position, while team captain Serge Tjin Wong Joe (left) and Mark Jie Tjoe Foek (right) took home the silver and bronze for SVS respectively, in the overall standings.
If that weren’t enough, top lady also went to Team SVS, with a solid performance by Rochelle Tjin Wong Joe. All in all, Team SVS managed to take 6 places out of the top 10, which illustrated the depth and overall strength of the team.
