Howdy folks. Yesterday, despite the rains we've had the second SVS Shooter of the Month match for 2009. You can download the results here and read the following excellent report by Mark "leChef" Jie.

It's back. Our Shooter of the Month monthly match. After a full year of absense, we're back on a monthly basis. Not that we ever stopped, mind you Anyway, enjoy the following excellent report by Mark "le Chef" Jie. Shoot safe.

The teamcaptain does it again! In standard division, Mr.SVS November 2007 is once again Serge "el Capitán" Tjin Wong Joe. Closely followed by Mark Jie Tjoe Foek and Anthony Li. In production division, we have yet another familiar face by the name of Luo "I am not a serial killer" Te. Great performance by Luo Te, who won both stages decisively. Here are the top three in PD and STD:

Kicking Ass sure gets tiring after a while. And we've been doing that a lot lately . Therefore, we'll have to postpone the November SOTM (Shooter of the Month) event for one week, from November 4th to November 11th. If you show up on November 4th all riled up to be crowned SOTM, it's your own damn fault for not checking the website regularly and we'll crown you "STOM" instead .

No we're not covering a story for some sleezy women's magazine. And ladies, no, these boys are already spoken for (although the contact information is available to the determined ladies..). Anyway, what we have here is in fact the winners (gotta love that pose) of another one of those exciting SVS SOTM events. It was exciting alright cause all 6 top competitors in the standard division were within 90% of the overall score.

This time we are proud (and so is his momma) to announce a new SOTM for October 2007 in the standard division. None other than Serge "El Capitán" Tjin Wong Joe. Trailed by sir Anthony "Bunny Hopkins" Li, by the infamous "Surinamese Indian's hair".

In production division we have once again Mitchell Chen as mister October 2007. Followed by Luo "Shiny White Shoes" Te. Here are the top 3 in Standard and Production. Congrats once again to the winners, as we're going to get ready for the next event at Cul this coming weekend.

Attention SVS practical shooters! Yet another chance to make momma proud. The Shooter of the Month (SOTM) October 2007 event is just around the corner. In fact, it's this sunday. You are expected at 10:00AM sharp. There will be 2 challenging stages, you may download them here. So get practicing and see you this weekend. Shoot safe.

Mark does it again! Back to back, baby. The SVS SOTM of September 2007 for IPSC standard division is once again Mark Jie Tjoe Foek. If Eddy Murphy would be around, we'd like him to say this: "Him momma so proud of him ".

In production, we have Luo Te "Make Ready" back in top shape and shiny white shoes . "Him momma so proud of him too ". Anyway, we've had fun and agony altogether as always. Here are the overall results:

Last sunday we've had what will be the first of many monthly IPSC matches of gunclub Suriname. The weather was extreme at times but we still had a lot of fun . We are proud to crown and announce our first shooters of the month August 2007:

For those wondering about the results of the match, here are the top 3 in both divisions:

Attention SVS practical shooters! Here are the new medals for the SVS monthly shoot. Not only do you have the chance to make momma proud, and to get your photo posted in the SVS gallery for all times and be famous, BUT you can be the proud owner of these beauties. Click on the picture for a larger view.

First price in each division (standard or production) gets a .44 (pardon the pun ), custom engraved round of appreciation. Second gets a .41 and third a .357. These medals will ONLY be available to the SVS monthly shoot winners. Only clubmembers are allowed to participate.
